- If Theres No Blue Theres No Green - Final Major ProjectMy final major project collection showcased at Graduate Fashion Week along with my portfolio. The inspiration comes from ocean pollution and my on going passion for the ocean and marine life. My print illustrates the faces that sea life change due to the pollution and the affect it is having on them and our eco-system. The collection focuses on my love for colour combining with design and detail.

Through my time at River Island I was trained in all areas of the store which enabled me to learn alot about fashion retail, partically when doing store layouts and merchandising I was able to use my creativity with the consumer needs to create an eye catching environment which would appeal to the brands different consumers. I benefited from seeing the latest trends and fashion changes and particularly enjoy working the shop floor and fitting rooms where I helped customers choose outfits. The job has given me invaluable experience of working in a team, communicating with others and dealing with problems in an employment setting. Furthermore, it has given me a good insight into the fashion retail business and I have learned about merchandising methods and different fits and fabrics.
