About me

 

Dave Ma is the son of a greyhound trainer. Raised part way between the beach and the racing track, Dave has established himself as a successful music photographer & director while based in London over the past 8 years. He has photographed artists including Grinderman, TV On The Radio, Sonic Youth, The Horrors, Suicide, British Sea Power, Lightning Bolt and Liars. He has also collaborated extensively with Foals, shooting countless press campaigns and numerous music videos for the band. Recent collaborations include photoshoot commissions for The 1975 and The Naked And Famous and art direction/design for Jagwar Ma. As a director, Dave has worked on commercial pieces for Honda, Nokia and Vodafone. He now splits his time between Los Angeles and London.
