Greetings,
My name is Dave Migicovsky. I’m a 31 year old Canadian living in London.
I am a writer, musician, and insane fan of my Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, and Raptors.
My very first creative effort was a short story written in fifth grade about a genie living in a cereal box. By my current standards it might be a bit convoluted and riddled with plot holes, but not bad for an 11 year old.
I began my professional career in film. As a writer and crew member, I worked on various projects between Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Since 2010, I have earned 9 awards for my writing.
In 2013, I became interested in advertising, recognizing the similarities of creating an emotional connection through story. As I began to study advertising, I could see how storytelling was the driving force of any campaign, regardless of the medium. I've enjoyed the challenge of using multiple platforms and mediums to engage consumers emotionally. I love the concept of using creativity to problem solve.
Currently, I am a junior writer looking to grow my experience, and contribute to a great creative team.

Freelance Copywriter

Z Creative Group is a small agency based in Toronto. I was hired to help with the holiday social media. This included blogging, writing product call outs, and tweeting.
Copywriter

Spinmaster is a Toronto based toy company. I worked closely with the senior copywriter to produce online content for a wide variety of products for different ages and genders. I had the opportunity to write scripts for promotional videos as well as participate in the rebranding of products.
