Since joining NET-A-PORTER.COM I have tackled many projects; leading the design implementation a responsive, device agnostic platform, to partnering with high profile global brands on seasonal campaigns, product launches and also developing new approaches to re-enforce our customer engagement. I work closely with members of our Experience Team to develop concepts from initial requirements to low-fi first phase user flows, through concept development iterations, prototyping and validation to high fidelity designs. Redefining what it means to be part of the design team has been a long term goal for my role at NET-A-PORTER. I have also grown the team from a single entity to a cross-competency 3 person team. Developing key functions like; Interaction Design, User Centred Design, Art Direction and iterative prototyping cycles. I have also integrated the members of the Design Team into our Technology streams. Responsible for the evolution of the website from a flash website into a responsive, multi-language, CMS based site with accompanying iOS app. I also worked across way-finding projects within the Villages, allowing me to implement designs in both physical and digital environments. Value Retail is split across 9 localised regions in North Europe and part of my role as digital lead was to manage the creative produced at a localised level.
