About me

I am an award-winning Creative Producer with a proven track record in documentary, music video production, commercials, corporate advertising, live-streaming, branded content, and e-learning. I have been fortunate to have been involved in projects that have collectively received over 50 nominations - such as a 2018 Oscar nomination - and 16 awards that include, Best Documentary at the World Documentary Awards 2018, Best Documentary at the International Independent Film Awards 2017 and Best Documentary at IndieFest 2017. My recent clients include; YouTube, Bacardi, BMW, Lavazza, and several others. I have strong organisational, leadership and creative skills that have made for an effective approach to production management, content strategy design and creative development that has seen all client requirements met through budgets ranging from a few thousand dollars, to well over $1million. Alongside my practice, I have also worked as a Lecturer in Film & TV at Falmouth University, teaching students about all aspects of the filmmaking process and industry where each semester would result in me managing over 40 short films productions at any given time. Here, I was nominated twice for Innovation in Teaching for my methods and approaches to student experience, underpinned by the UK’s largest work-placement initiative within an Arts university that saw 216 students obtain a placement in 2016. My work has been published as part of the AQA Media Studies curriculum in the UK, and I have delivered countless guest talks and lectures at institutions such as; TISCH, NYU and FUERJ in Rio de Janeiro. From my work in Brazil, South Korea, UK, and USA in music, documentary, and advertising, I understand the challenges and rewards that can come from working in different environments and embracing the opportunity to work with those from different cultures and backgrounds.
