To build, lead and manage a production facility that produces local on and off air promotional content for UK and Emerging Markets • Ensure that management information reports are accurate and communicate key information on utilisation to managers • Devise and manage production rate cards, evaluating value for money and providing best practice guidance to the team • Conduct forecasting and reforecasting using knowledge and understanding of strategic priorities and channel performance • Assess and oversee all internal workflow, making suggestions for efficiency and putting in place an infrastructure to ensure timely accurate delivery. Ensure all workflows are strategic and well communicated • Ensure that the production infrastructure supports and facilitates a creative environment • Hold regular forward planning meetings to ensure that the appropriate level of resourcing is in place and those stakeholders are managed • Ensure that accuracy underpins all aspects of the production process • Maintain an overview of post-production, liaising with facilities manager on the utilisation of suites, post production workflow, maintenance of kit, interplay, unity and archive issues, capex requirements and facilities staff • Ensure production and post-production teams are working closely together to encourage efficiency and creative facilitation • Be the first point of contact and figurehead for the escalation of any production issues • Provide motivational management to create an empowered, talented production team • Understand the strategic and business objectives of NBCU and UK/EMEA channels. • Understand and plan for all annual rebrands and special projects that fall outside normal channel activity, preparing comprehensive budgets and timelines for on and off air • Prioritise work and resources according to channel strategies and company objectives • Responsible for all financial planning, budgeting and reporting for OAP & Post and special projects

Manage budgets in conjunction with Marketing and Press teams including department yearly allocation and spend. Manage Creative teams budget. Project manage productions of on-air and off-air assets and oversee organisation for extensive shoots. Project reconciliations and accruals with CM and Finance team. Day to day management of the Production team and improving production management work processes. Negotiate contract terms and fees for collaborating production companies, creative agencies and freelancers as well as briefing external suppliers and freelancers. Work with legal and HR to ensure legal procedures are followed and necessary contracts are raised for suppliers and freelancers. Forward planning of upcoming projects and workflow.
Oversee and manage all post production workflow for all contract and non contract work. Production manage shoots, from pre production, filming through to post production. Negotiate with all freelancers, crews and external facilities/production companies to ensure competitive rates. Management of Production Coordinators. Assisting Head of Production with additional budgeting and strategic financial planning. Manage department budgets for monthly accruals with FD. Implement new processes to ensure smooth running of both production and post production departments. Account management on all projects from concept ideas to delivery, both clip based and shoot based.
