• Album Cover Art - The CitieIllustration for the cover of Californian band The Citie. The band approached me to ask if I would create the cover art for their debut album. They wanted somone in the foreground, looking out towards a dystopian city on the horizon. Referencing the infamous Kowloon Walled City, and taking inspiration from the album art for Plastic Beach by the Gorrilaz.
• Hotel Information SheetsInformation sheets and floor plans for Crowne Plaza and Clontarf Castle. Providing information for their corporate guests and event planners.
• Travelodge BrochureBrochure designed for Travelodge. Providing information and exposure for all of their hotels in Ireland.
• Borrowed Honey - Branding & PackagingBorrowed is a sustainably sourced honey that ensures it's bees are well looked after. Making sure that they are able to replensih their stock to support the hive. Using simple geometric forms, the logo takes inspiration from the bee, the hive and the honeycomb. The hexagonal shape of the jar itself also reflects the honeycomb and compliments the style of the logo. The overall symmetry aims to highlight the efficeint nature of the bee, and it's ability to organise. The typeface used is Lucida G

I spent 7 months working for Futurebrand in London. Where I was involved in multiple projects for global brands such as Nestle and Lenovo. These briefs included a variety of design disciplines from packaging to brand guidelines. Working in a fast paced, high pressure environment I quickly learned many of the technicalities required to develop an efficient work flow. The high standard set in the design team pushed me to reach a more professional standard. This not only improved the overall quality of my work, but also heightened the expectations of myself as a designer.

Just before attending university I moved to Shanghai for an internship with IDEO. I was lucky enough to be involved in projects that ranged from designing a car seat for Audi, to image curation for The North Face. It was a truly eye opening experience and gave me valuable insight into the industry and the significant roles designers have in product development, branding, marketing and retail presentation.
