I'm a creative, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with experience in theatre, film, post production, script writing, office administration, customer services and marketing/sales. Having enjoyed working primarily as an actor for the last 6 years, I'm now looking for a new challenge that can offer a genuine opportunity for progression and a position that will utilise the specific skills and industry knowledge I have acquired.
This is my constant, flexible part time job. I work here when not working on other projects. Duties include ushering, bar and event work. This is a client facing role which requires excellent customer service and organisation skills.
I was employed by Neil on a fixed term contract to assist with the updating of a creative info graphic which displayed the digital marketing agencies in the UK as if from space in the style of a star chart. My role in- volved contacting the agencies to get updated company information and corresponding with the designer thus contributing to the accurate completion of the chart which listed some 400 agencies. Neil was so im- pressed with my hard work and diligence that he offered to take me on part time and I currently work for him one day a week, assisting with marketing, updating the companies social networking page, assisting in the set up of webinars. My main duty is processing a database of potential candidates for the graduate sector a!nd assisting the senior recruiters.
I worked for Secret Cinema for two shows, the first being Millers Crossing- an intimate immersive theatre show set in 1930s Prohibition America. Following this I then became involved in their summer show 'Back To The Future' which received National and press coverage and was one of the most successful events of the summer.
During the 5 week shoot for The Whale, I worked as the Edit Assistant/Data Wrangler in the cutting rooms based at Mediterranean Film Studios in Malta. My main duties were liaising with the set for the safe deliv- ery, storage and return of the camera/sound cards; logging any media coming into and leaving the cutting rooms; making backups of all the rushes; and transcoding the Arri Alexa footage with a LUT for the offline edit. There were sometimes up to three camera units shooting and seven different cameras being used. Due to the high turnover of cards it was essential to ensure that all the media was accurately logged, backed-up cleanly and backed-up quickly. I was using ShotPut Pro to make duplicated verified copies of the camera & sound rushes and Alexicc to transcode the ProRes 4444 Alexa camera files to DNxHD 36 QuickTimes with a!n added Log C to Rec 709 LUT. Additional duties included sourcing and importing sound effects and temporary music, managing the cutting rooms during late-wrapping shoot days and night shoots, and organising the shoot-related paperwork. ?
