I’m Davinia Clarke, studying BA Illustration and Visual Media. I have an energised passion for bold colours, textures and experimental work.
Through my work, I draw on the themes of identity, family, culture and community. Using photography, I document my surroundings, transforming it into digital illustrations. I aim to uplift, inspire and empower the viewer's of my work.

- Digital Portrait PaintingI used a reference picture taken by the photographer Idreezus Studio to practice drawing male subjects. I was captivated by his bold and emotive use of the colour blue as well the composition and pose of his subject within this photograph. I choose a green / leaf background to play onto this feeling of vulnerability and serenity.
