Administration/ Showroom • Daily tasks consisted of call backs, visual merchandising, product movement, product pulls, scanning of coverage, and maintaining imagery and prices of samples. • Familiar with Fashion GPS for product management. • Assisted with projects on a weekly basis which included client report assistance, client strategy assistance, and journalist call rounds. • Familiar with Gorkana and Google Alerts for identifying pieces of coverage. • Participated in preparing for and running press day; tasks included keeping track of the guest list, venue set up, and any assistance during the event. • Assisted at the London Fashion Textile Awards as a hostess. Other tasks included taking photos for social media and any backstage assistance. • Assisted at a campaign launch event. Responsibilities consisted of guest list and RSVP management, hosting the guests at the door and making sure everything was running smoothly. • Worked with the lifestyle PR team for two weeks. Main duties in the lifestyle department were putting together client feedback reports and sending out press releases.
Press Office Intern • Handled sample movement; preparing packages to send to publications for coverage opportunities. • Identified pieces of coverage on print and digital media for client feedback reports. • Responded to image requests from publications along with other enquiries via email and phone. • Other responsibilities consisted of keeping the show room up to date with new trends and styles. • Assisted with projects on celebrity targeting for trend setting key products; researched influential fashion celebrities, selected the most appropriate for the brand image. • Prepared and sent celebrity gift packages.
• Handled sample requests from magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar by preparing packages upon email requests and correspondence. • Identified coverage of brands on print media and online twitter mentions. • Dealt with phone and email enquiries. • Assisted with the events crew during the Centre for Fashion Enterprises 10 year anniversary at the Dorchester Hotel. My duties were to help with set up, host and deal with any guest requests.
