About me

MADAMA DEA is Dea Curic. Born in 1986 in Croatia, in Milan since 2005, she’s a versatile and prolific artist: art director, textile designer, writer of erotic tales and illustrator. Today she is the art director of cap74024 - magazine for fashion, art and Eros and also she collaborate as a freelance for different brands: Dolce&Gabbana, Trussardi, MaxMara, Rare, CondèNast Italia, Vivetta.. SuperMadama is her erotic cartoon that is out in episodes in Girls section on GQ Italia monthly. She produces collections according to her personal artistic path and dependent on her experiences. She follows the logic of the love seasons, evolution and involution included, recreating parallel worlds influenced by the art techniques of the past and interpreted by the iconic pin-up, which in the first half of the ’900 returned the sensuality and women’s liberation from common standards of beauty . All of Madama Dea’s creations flow into a macro concept: The Pharmacy of Love. Because Love can be compounding but also conflicting. Each artwork is conceived to exalt or exorcise Love. Erotic tales dedicated to all broken hearts… holy pictures for seduction, sex, and confused hearts… Illustrations, textile designs… Madama Dea’s art takes care of all kind of lovers and hearts. Dea teaches digital printing and publishing design at IED and NABA fashion institutes. She is also the teacher of a ’50s swing dance, Rockabilly jive, at Boogiemilano dance school.
