I'm an experienced copywriter with four years' creative and cross-channel work on my file. I've written professional editorial and commercial content for a range of publications, including MoneySavingExpert.com and Time Out London, that's clear, entertaining, informative messaging and on-brand. I'm now looking to take the next step in my career at an organisation that's fun, creative, rewards hard work and likes to eat cake (as I'm a baker in more than name).
My main responsibility is to write fresh, new content daily for the Time Out Offers platform, working closely with the sales and editorial teams to ensure information is correct and in keeping with style guidelines; resizing images using Photoshop and producing and scheduling daily emails to a database of over 875,000 subscribers.
At MSE, I collated all HTML content for the weekly newsletter (“Martin's Money Tips”), which was sent to over nine million people each week. I also wrote all copy for "The MoneySaving Community" section of the weekly newsletter, contributed team blog posts, researched, wrote and proofread content for the "Deals" section of the website and maintained five Deals pages via a CMS. In 2013 I was promoted to a Researcher position, which involved writing longer consumer guides in addition to the above.
