About me

My name is Deborah "Debbie" and I'm an aspiring multimedia artist, specializing in a sound art installation, from Glasgow, Scotland. I am currently studying a Master's in Disability Studies, Rights, and Inclusion at the University of Leeds. My passion for sound art arose from prolonged experimentation and the freedom I felt it embodied. Through incorporating mixed media, including visual art forms such as photography and film into my installation work, I hope to use my very unique place in the world as a child refugee, as a woman of colour and as a disabled artist to create an impact.
