A creative professional with over fifteen years experience of conceptualising and delivering high-profiled strategic cultural initiatives, live events, creative projects and digital communications. A facilitator of ideas and positive social change, with a proven track record of improving efficiencies and income-generation. Diane is currently Director of nitroBEAT, a company that explores the intersection between theatre, music and contemporary culture. Consultancy work includes; organisational development, strategic planning, creative project design and delivery. Diane is passionate about developing ideas, artists and audiences in a variety of contexts. She has previously worked for the Cultural Leadership Programme, EMCCAN, Bernie Grant Arts Centre and Contact Theatre, Manchester. She devised and led on the decibel programme for Arts Council West Midlands, delivering the largest programme outside of London. Her educational history spans fine art, fashion design and media (BA Hons). She co-founded Spirit Arts, a multi-disciplinary performance and education company, whilst completing an MA in visual communication and has since collaborated as a video artist (with theatre, dance, music and spoken word artist's and companies), theatre producer, creative consultant, club/live music promoter and festival programmer.
