I am MA Womenswear design student coming from Germany. I studied my BA degree in Germany, worked for Hugo Boss and started my MA in the Netherlands -really conceptional- at the University of the Arts ArtEZ in Arnhem. In my designs, I have a strong focus on knitwear and print: I am always working intuitively and love to try out a lot on a hand crafted level, but also combine it additionally with computer programs. Collaging, sketching, putting things together and apart, sketching, experiment with structures, colours, special materials and playing with compositions of knitted and printed patterns within the silhouettes is main part of my process. I am quite playful, intuitive and eclectic. I have a conceptual approach and therefore I am aiming to create a story and use references to build up a logical and emotional own universe within a collection. As a designer my inspiration comes from nature, graphics, art and architecture. Geometry, coulors, structures and compositions are elements which are always coming back in my work.
