Initially my responsibilities included researching the current marketing conditions in the organisation and suggesting improvements, as well as establishing the essential marketing channels for successful marketing communications. I have been responsible for developing the 2015-2018 Marketing Plan, which was developed to support the organisation's 2015-2018 Business plan. After completing the initial stages I have been employed to ensure the execution of the Marketing Plan. So far the process has included establishing and developing various online channels, designing the new website, improving the organisations external marketing contacts list, researching relevant content for the various media channels, creating engaging content for our different stakeholder groups, planning a student recruitment strategy in addition to a weekly evaluation of the wider marketing strategy and the outcomes of our current efforts. Due to the nature of the job I have developed an understanding of various IT issues as well as knowledge regarding student opportunities related to IT or offered by our partners.
