As one of the key Technicians for Heatherwick Studio, my duties include technical and practical care, maintenance and general management of the buildings, spaces and objects (including various artwork pieces, maquettes, tools and machinery). I am also responsible for ensuring statutory Health & Safety and Environmental standards are met through routine inspections and administration. I also oversee any additional ad hoc requirements, such as installation & removal of pieces, repairs and improvements. As Heatherwick has grown as a business during my time, I have overseen the above roles as the company has acquired and opened two additional buildings in the last year. Installation Technician (Inside Heatherwick Studio 2015) During the summer of 2015, I was assistant to the exhibition manager and coordinator in "Inside Heatherwick Studio"?. In partnership with the British Council, the exhibition is a retrospective of Thomas Heatherwick work. It's touring Asia until the end of this year and I was involved in the installing and deinstalling of the exhibition in Beijing and Honk Kong.
My responsibilities within the Artist Surfaces Department are predominantly within the production of bespoke canvases and stretcher bars for practising artists. This includes selecting the ready-moulded bars based on the clients’ brief, cutting them to size, and manufacturing the desired surfaces; All while maintain a strict eye on quality control throughout the whole process. Other duties include stretching bespoke canvases, restretching paintings, priming, artwork handling and storage, processing online orders and packing.
Casual Art Technician. Transportation of artworks and storage were my main responsibilities. An induction to art handling and storage to a museum standards was given by the company.

General assistant role for the installation, production and duration of the Jannis Kounellis Spring / Summer exhibition in Marylebone. My duties included assisting in the curation and installation, administration, customer service and sales advisor throughout the exhibition, and general ad hoc duties.
