Situ Live Project Managed a retail fit-out as Principal Designer for a new 7500 sq ft lifestyle concept store in Westfield London. Effectively adapting and finding solutions to client’s requirements, and delivering to expectation and budget. - Leadership and Teamwork: Led a team of 10, assigning responsibilities, overseeing tasks and workloads. Managed all external contractors, including the General Contractor, M&E, Fire Alarm and Sprinklers, Building Control, briefing on scope of works, leading site meetings, and ensuring all works complete and signed off. - Planning and Organising: Planned a 25 week programme to deliver from design concept to opening, adapted the programme after an 8 week pause due to the pandemic, allowing a 17 week lead time. Successfully oversaw the delivery of the project and organised a team to redesign, produce technical plans, obtain sign-off from Westfield, tender for contractors, build and order FF&E, strip-out and refit the store for opening. - Budget Planning and Management: Oversaw a budget of £1.23m, planning costs and authorising expenditure. Effectively built in contingencies to allow for the increase in cost of materials due to worldwide shortages, resulting in the project being delivered to budget. Hammerson Delivered the annual programme of 45 days of events for Hammerson’s 11 UK shopping centres, exceeding targets to drive footfall and saw a 300% increase in mobile app downloads. - Leadership and Teamwork: Mentored a team of 3 Producers, setting professional goals, monitoring performance, fostering positive working relationships, resulting in individuals taking on increased responsibilities. - Building Collaborative Relationships: Effectively collaborated with the client to develop creative event solutions to meet quarterly business wide KPIs. Liaised with 11 centre marketing teams to identify individual centre KPIS, and implemented an effective real-time feedback strategy to monitor KPIs. The successful relationship resulted in Bearded Kitten being engaged the following year to produce large scale events. - Budget Planning and Management: Oversaw a combined budget total of c£1.2m, responsible for outlining costs and reporting spend; producing detailed project plans, timelines and managing workflows for each campaign.
