I’m a young Australian designer living in London. I have a passion for interactive design and often spend my own time experimenting with tech; from playing with new gadgets to developing interactive artworks. I’m always looking for a challenge, which attracts me to UI design with a strong focus on the user journey and experience.
As a mid-level designer I was part of a small team involved in projects spanning everything from commercial websites and back-end systems, to native apps. My project involvement would begin with initial client meetings, through to UX planning, design delivery and project management. Clients I personally dealt with included Discovery Channel and Unilever..
My role at the Plain English Foundation was to rebrand the company from the logo up. This included all of their printed and digital material, while also being in charge of their production (including press checks and overseeing photo shoots). I worked closely with a system developer to build a new website and internal system, where I designed and coded the front end to be both responsive and interactive. I also created the style and brand guidelines for future brand evolution.
Received an AGDA Student Award for a major project I co art directed at university. http://domenicoperri.com/liminal-magazine
