I’m a young Australian designer living in London. I have a passion for interactive design and often spend my own time experimenting with tech; from playing with new gadgets to developing interactive artworks. I’m always looking for a challenge, which attracts me to UI design with a strong focus on the user journey and experience.
Projects
- Flume (personal project)This personal project was created as a way for me to experiment with front end web code. In particular, I wanted to test how effectively full screen background videos can be implemented (with intuitive play/pause functionality), while also experimenting with visual effects. The result is a micro-site that has play/pause background videos, a kaleidoscope effect on mouse-over, and a replicated infinity mirror effect using parallax Javascript.
- Little SpencerLittle Spencer is an emerging guitar duo from Berlin who approached me to tackle their branding and visual style, in the lead up to their first EP. The style was created from photos I took at Teufelsburg; an abandoned Cold War listening tower built at the highest point of Berlin. Teufelsburg is usually populated by outcasts and artists, making it an iconic symbol of Berlin subculture.
- Discovery TLC iOS appAs part of a major overhaul of their digital presence, Discovery TLC Germany wanted to create an app that would act as both a program guide, and an on demand TV catchup app. This app needed to work on both iPad and iPhone, meaning that it required two separate, but very similar designs, with the same user journey.
