About me

My name is Dominic Lupton and I from a north east U.K town, Hartlepool. Throughout my life I've had the opportunity of living in different cities like Dubai, Kula Lumpa and Newcastle. Growing up in Dubai, I soon started to develop a keen interest in designs. I had the opportunity to see this city flourish with architecture and other designs which brought me to wanting to study Graphic Design. Hartlepool is a lovely seaside town which brings in huge numbers of tourism each year, however, I am looking to relocate due to the north east not having a huge presence within the design industry.

From the age of sixteen, I have worked in independent restaurants throughout Hartlepool. Each establishment has taught me plenty in terms or running a business and the professionalism that comes with it. I have also supported them on marketing, advertisement and the designing of menus and social media content. My experience and knowledge in the hospitality industry allowed me to handle difficult situations and customer complaints efficiently, this was noticed by the business owners which led to my promotion to supervisor. Keeping staff moral and customers happy were key to my role, this I believe is a trait that will support me in future role. I am a firm believer in building relationships both, personal and professional.
