About me

My name is Dominique Ampe and I'm a Belgian designer. After having worked for various leading design studios, I started in 2015 as a freelance designer. I hold a Master's in Graphic Design and have a total work experience of 10 years. For over more than two years I had the opportunity to work at Solar Initiative Design Agency in Amsterdam where I developed and hone my skills in different areas of design. For more then two years I worked for clients such as Vogue Netherlands and De Bijenkorf. With a focus on brand identity, print, online, editorial design and art direction, I create visual communication across various media, from conception to production for a diverse range of clients. I approach every project with passion and dedication to capture the essence of a brand and make it visible to its audience. With my international background, effective, elegant and smart design solutions I inspire a team and bring design solutions forward. My passionate approach to projects allows me to fully immerse myself on a creative journey with my client and team.

The North Sails brand was established in 1958 and remains an industry leader for high end, performance sail manufacturing today. My engagement was encompassing the marketing touch points — from campaign imagery, barricades to in-store and online communication.
