Education

Advertising and Brand Management

University for the Creative Arts

Aug 2006 - Apr 2009
  • Expanded my creative development and design experience through a range of assignments and lectures on advertising and design from building the brief, visualizing and completing the brief, market research customer and company definition. I also explored different pathways to idea creation and visualization including photography, illustration, paint, copy as well as experiential and gorilla advertising. I discovered not only the means to create such art work, but also how it affects us mentally through psychological research to how audiences are targeted, molded and influenced and how these are created through archetypes and stereotypes. I developed my dissertation “Generation Z: The Fear mongers- The frailty of society and its causes” through vigorous research into drawing more thought on the argument to the media making us think and do things through creative ploys versus psychological factors such as experience , behavior, common sense and instinct . I was able to build skills with many design programs including Adobe Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Dreamweaver.
