My name is Donovan Mathews. Currently a freelance script reader with my main client being Curzon Cinemas. I want to empower people to make great films championing story and provocative filmmaking. Whilst studying my MA I produced my first short film on the effects of migration on an artists musical process. Highlighting the expression of dual identity through their music. My thesis on African Animation was awarded a distinction whilst a video essay I made was awarded the 2020 Audiovisual prize.
