About me
My name is Dora Maroević and I am 21 years old. I come from a small town in Slovenia called Brežice. As I was growing up in a small town I have always wanted to travel and explore new things, places, cultures and food. That is why I have decided to study Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana. I am very good at people and i find myself as a very communicative and organised person. What interests me most is working in a creative environment, including people because I am good at working in a group. I can be very adaptable in the sense of working with lots of different people in different situations. I am initiative and I can really find myself in the saying "Fashion is my passion", but I enjoy styling the most - not only clothes styling but also food and interior styling.

This is my current student job which i do parallel to my Uni Studies. As a sales person at a shop that specializes in footwear, I have gained knowledge about the entire sales process including sales pitch and how to approach and advise a customer. At this point it is important to quickly "read" a customer, regarding their personality traits and style variations, so your advise is the very best it can be and a customer has a happy experience at the store.

At this job i was helping at a photoshoot for editorial for the winter issue of New Edge Magazine, which is a bi-annual independent online publication which highlights the new edges and risks and also supports young talents who seek through the magazine to present to the wider world and it also symbolizes the people’s interests and a new innovative view of the world. My work included organisation of the whole photoshoot, from head to toe. I arranged location of the photoshoot, the clothes and different stylings for the model and i also set a theme of the photoshoot. That included communication with lots of different people, time and location coordination as well as other administrative and organisation jobs.
