•Dealing with basic national and international tax problems, especially: ?Basic Swiss tax features such as income tax, mechanics of withholding tax and stamp duties. ?Standard set-ups of asset management companies and related common tax problems. ?Understanding of international tax issues with regard to VAT, Withholding Taxes and Capital Gains Taxes. •Preparing tax returns and reviewing tax assessment. •Involvement in the Risk Management and Billing Process.
•Assist attorneys to prepare integral corporate documents: ?Work with lawyers to prepare all documents required to form corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies in any canton (in German and French). ?Assist lawyers in the preparation of documentation for amendments, withdrawals, mergers and dissolutions of corporations, partnerships and/or limited liability companies. ?Assist lawyers with the completion of stock certificates. Complete franchise tax forms for lawyer review. ?Create and maintain corporate minute books. •Work with Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA) ?Assist with the completion and filing of Forms with the FTA for the purpose of obtaining Employee Identification Numbers or for corporations, partnerships and/or limited liability companies. •Prepare audit letters for distribution to auditors and clients: ?Gather litigation and billing information to prepare draft responses to auditors' requests for information.
•Assistant to a Partner and Associate ?Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing. ?Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments. ?Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations. ?Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well prepared for meetings. ?Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.
