After recently returning from five years working in Berlin, I Offer a rounded knowledge gained by 18 years in a variety of areas in the music industry, I am driven, resourceful and flexible. I'm passionate about music, the creative process and film. I enjoy taking artistic products to market and the buzz of adapting to changing priorities whilst maintaining a strong work ethic. I"m known for my ability to manage projects, and multitasking in both large business planning, and marketing concepts, whilst being able to provide personal care and attention to detail. I enjoy listening, learning and advising to produce problem solving ideas and product improvements. I am looking for new opportunities to further build on my knowledge of the digital music industry.

Accomplishments: Pitched and obtained licensed material for Microsoft and Ubisoft gaming scores. Achieved music sync for independent film productions, the BBC and The Netflix original series 'House of Cards'. Nominated for DJ mag Best Of British Awards 2011. Sourced contracted remix and album production work, past clients include The Prodigy and Bjork . Guest speaker at the Apple Store Regent Street for the 'Ableton Users Group' speaking on and demonstrating the functionality and application of production software suite 'Ableton Live'. Completed corporate sound design, video editing and audio bed work for software tutorials and electronic press kits including music promotion platform FATdrop. Established close bonds and support with key press and radio targets, even inspiring the creation for a new section of The Remix radio show on Xfm

  • Working in a department of 3, looking after a large number of european accounts for a music distribution company. Responsibilities included taking care of shipments from arrival to shipping : supervising deliveries, checking stock quantities, filing shipments, communicating new products to 50+ accounts, taking orders, boxing up and shipping, whilst reporting to the dance buyer and managing director. Other roles included product returns, creating and amending invoices, issuing credit notes and annual stocktaking. Closely worked with the head of department and often covered key roles including out of hours buying and negotiating, dealing with foreign territory distribution companies and promoting new products. Sourced and co-ordinated the set up of new accounts with importers in order to carry products not currently being supplied. Took initiative to hand deliver shipments to vital accounts when courier company failed to arrive.
