My name is Ebamiyo Somade and I am a graduate from the course of Interior Design and Architecture (BA) at the University of the Creative Arts (graduated with a First Class Honours Degree). Interior design and fashion are my two passions that I plan to express in my future career.
I have experience working in the Architecture Practice ‘Guy Holloway’ as an Interior Designer where I worked on a restaurant renovation project and school project. I have also gained professionalism by working in a luxurious environment in House of Fraser, Michael Kors, which allowed me to gain experience in visual merchandising, which I believe plays a key part in Interior Design.
Studying Interior Architecture and Design has taken my creative nature to another level, allowing me to visually transform and put together spaces. Throughout my projects, I enjoyed and found an evocative nature in using narratives to create my projects. My final year project was a ‘story-telling’ interior architecture project and with this project I received the award of ‘Best project of the year/national competition submission’.
With the above, and the qualities I have adopted in past roles, I will confidently compliment any company. I am determined to achieve my greatest ambitions and gain knowledge and experience in any way possible.
