Production Controller
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management for the production of complex four-colour titles in both print and digital formats.
- Setting-up and monitoring the critical path to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Working closely with designers and editorial colleagues to ensure titles are produced within brief.
- Quality control - proofing artwork, ensuring accurate colour match during the repro stage and promptly dealing with any print discrepancies.
- Cost management - Managing the budget for projects, investigating any problematic costs and looking into cost effective solutions.
- Liaising on a daily basis with printers, reproduction house and other suppliers based in the UK and offshore to oversee projects.
