While working alongside the fashion team at Stylist magazine, my main duties involved liaising with PR companies, calling in stock for shoots, looking after stock and assisting on organising looks for editorial shoots. As well as this, I assisted on researching current trends and styles for online and print content. I also gained experience assisting on editorial shoots for the Stylist weekly print magazine.

As Leah Abbott’s assistant (stylist to Jorja Smith) I was required to research upcoming brands, choose looks from fashion weeks and pull clothing and accessories according to a variety of trends and briefs. I also assisted on a number of editorial shoots for print publications, such as Wave magazine and assisted on a commercial film for Schuh footwear. As well as this, I was required to create moodboards, liaise with PR companies and was responsible for picking up, looking after and returning loaned items.
