My name’s Edgar Harden, founder and director of the Old Spirits Company, which sells, well, old spirits. Starting with spirits that have about thirty years of bottle age, I go back as far as I can. The current record is a c. 1795 Cognac, a Madeira from c. 1800 and of particular note was unearthing a mid-nineteenth century absinthe. I have, at one time or another, sourced and sold virtually every type and brand of spirits made, including many brands that are now defunct. Based in London, I source for and supply to bars, brands, private collectors, individuals, members’ clubs and restaurants for use as straight pours or in cocktails.
