  • Artist Manager - Creeper
    Artist Manager - CreeperFrom the band’s formation in April 2014, I managed Creeper, originally as a part time role, whilst the band were in their early stages, the position rapidly grew into a full time job. Originally, as the sole individual involved in the band, I was responsible for the release of the band’s debut self-titled EP as well as the band’s early PR. As the demand on the band grew, I was responsible for building a team around them including working alongside CAA and Roadrunner Records. My work with the band saw them claim the Kerrang ‘Best British Newcomer’ award and the Metal Hammer Golden Gods ‘Best New Band’ award. Main responsibilities: Managing and implementing campaign strategy Negotiating contracts on the band's behalf Maintaining financial records and live budgets Managing the bands diary (including live shows and promotional appearances) Securing endorsements and beneficial partnerships on the band's behalf Merchandise development and production Working with live agents to book live shows and promote existing tours.

    My most recent role was a maternity cover position within the Decca Records press office, where I was primarily responsible for the planning and implementing of online and print press publicity campaigns for artists across a variety of genres. This was a position which saw me working in tandem with the marketing teams, the A&R team, other promotional teams and artist management. In my time at Decca Records I have worked on many very successful campaigns, including a UK no.1 album for The Lumineers, one of the most successful jazz artists of the modern era in Gregory Porter and his most recent record ‘Take Me To The Alley’ and one of Decca’s most successful new international artists, Aurora and her debut album. Main responsibilities: Planning and implementing online and print press campaigns for Decca Records artists Project budgeting Coordinating press events and international promotional trips Internal and external communication on campaign progress Writing press releases and external label communications Developing promotional strategies to best suit artist’s strengths Building external relationships with journalists and label partners

    In this position, I headed up the promotional division of the record labels Full Time Hobby and Hassle Records. I was responsible for promotions for artists across both labels, as well as bringing in external business via other record labels and management companies. The highlights of my time involved include managing the PR for the release of Frank Iero’s debut solo record and managing the campaign that helped secure Lonely The Brave’s record deal with Columbia Records, and then working alongside them to release the band’s debut album. Main responsibilities: National and International Radio, TV Print and online promotional campaigns Social Media Community Management – including Hassle records twitter Procurement of external clients Additional PR responsibilities similar to those in my most recent role at Decca records. Artists included: Lonely The Brave, Frank Iero and We Are The Ocean amongst others.
