    Sales Assistant

    My position as Sales Assistant for Marylebone Anthropologie was granted to me after being involved with the setting up and opening of the store ready for 2014 Christmas trade. This included working 2 weeks prior to the opening date, alongside the new store operations team, the visual merchandising and display team. Within these two weeks I gathered valuable skills both within the industry and also in developing my teamwork skills. Responsibilities during this period included, processing and tagging delivery (homeware and apparel), organisation of stock ready for both the shop floor and stock room. Creative opportunities entailed helping the display team with the creation of various props for the store and also helping the visual team merchandise the products. Responsibilities as a Sales Assistant after the opening included: - Providing excellent customer service with knowledge of the company, products and polices - Till transactions/ cash and card transaction handling - Communicating will all team members and managers to ensure shifts run as smoothly as possible - Restock of the shop floor whenever necessary - Assisting the visual team with product moves, and occasionally having inputs on product placement - Opening and closing of store – ensuring standards and general cleanliness of store is of highest quality.
