    I began my role at Superdry as a retail operative on a bronze wage (the lowest band of wage at Superdry), within three months had jumped to silver wage and was being given basic supervisor and in- depth visual merchandising training Main roles: • Training team members • Assigned as a deputy visual merchandiser which meant that when the in store visual merchandiser was not in store I took over all responsibilities which included; liaising with store managers and regional managers on company expectations for the look of the store, retrieving visual merchandising directives from the company portal and re- creating their ideas, creating reports connecting the visual aspect of the store and its’ impact on our sales and then delivering that report to management, dressing and designing mannequins taking in to account the season and any upcoming days such as Christmas/ fathers Day/ Mothers day, coming up with new ideas of where and how to place product and delivering them to management, in charge of maintaining all clothes fixtures within the store and following health and safety rules and regulations when it came to placing fixtures or maneuvering them, and much more • Supervising the floor when management had meetings • Receiving and analysing sales figures in reports, then writing them up on the communal board for all staff members to see • Creating briefing material then briefing team members at the beginning of a shift • Working at other stores when extra assistance was needed by an experienced team member • Creating an approachable, friendly environment for shoppers and delivering a first class standard of service for whatever they may need • Encouraging customers to give feedback on their store visit, in which my standard of service was praised on various occasions
