I am a results-driven Creative Designer with two and a half years experience working across different creative disciplines. My early commercial training provides me with an analytical approach to creative briefs, focusing on consumer needs to deliver relevant brand solutions. With a positive attitude, I enjoy working within a team, though I am also inquisitive and self motivated, enabling me to complete projects autonomously. I work well under pressure and can take briefs from inception to production.
Working for this independent and fully integrated agency has provided me with the opportunity to work across an array of channels, B2C and B2B. My role was to support my ECD with the strategic development and positioning for a portfolio of FMCG brands. Leading trend research for communication projects and assisting with insight development and planning. I also have experience supporting with the production of photography shoots and involvement with brainstorming, initiating creative ideas and taking these concepts through to final production across TTL media, including packaging, product developments and online media launches. My support led to; • An award winning marketing campaign for Fujitsu. • Development of the fastest growing FMCG range in France and Spain for KT International. • Growth to1.5% SOM in three months of launch for Onyx in Bulgaria. • Successful online launch of children’s bedding company, doovay.
Whilst at university I completed my placement at this design studio, specialising in sports publications such as Beyond the Boundaries, First Class and The Manager. Much of my time was spent designing layout-spreads, developing illustrations and info-graphics to accompany articles. I learnt to work with tight production deadlines and was introduced to the technicalities of print design. Success was being invited to continue working on a freelance basis after completion of my placement.
Though not a creative position, this role taught me a great deal about conduct in a working environment. I started as a shop assistant and graduated to control a sales department over weekends. My responsibilities were to manage stock control, support customers with purchases, take stock and sales preparations. Customer service is key when working in retail and I was able to build my confidence in communicating effectively with clients through a range of training and on-the-job experience. I learnt how to plan my time and use my initiative. Teamwork was a big part of the company ethos, understanding the true value of what can be accomplished in a well-organised group.
