Liaising closely with clients on project based briefs, I was responsible for creating mood-boards which visualised the client's needs. This involved a good deal of market research; through researching themes and trends I was able to provide current and trend aware competitive products and prices. This experience gave me the confidence to present to clients on a one on one basis as well as hugely improving my communication skills both verbally and visually.
I am graduating from Glasgow School of Art in June 2017 having studied Textile Design, specialising in Printed Textiles.
The Extended Diploma allowed me to experience many diverse art and design disciplines in intense short courses allowing me to find my own creative direction and specialism. This course gave me the foundation to have the confidence in my own ability moving onto further education.
