I am a responsible, proffesional, confident, trustworthy, reliable and committed person. I am passionately interested in working in the music events industry. I am currently looking for a creative position based on events and marketing which I believe I would thrive in due to my ability to build a rapport with clients, polite manor, initiative and hard working attitude. I have an enthusiastic approach to everything I do and am able to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team. In my own time I enjoy hobbies such as cycling, cooking and drawing.
Working within the Development team i have gained extensive experience leading on events such as private views, lectures and launches. I have learnt to confidently manage suppliers and any admin that goes alongside the planning of a well run event. I also assist in the management of all major donors including individuals, trusts and foundations and Patrons. As well as working within the development team i branch out into different departments to manage events when needed for teams such as Innovation, Communications and Exhibitions and Collection
Assisted work within his London design studio, framing artwork, arranging displays in the studio, deliveries, accounting, e-commerce, researching and contacting new suppliers and secretarial duties such as updating social media, website and databases, building a rapport with suppliers and clients. Planning travel to and from design fairs.
My role at the Victoria & Albert Museum is a highly rewarding position working within the Museum Events team on mostly Private views, Galas and Previews. Within this position – I am responsible for the variousadministrative tasks such as dealing with public enquiries, corresponding directly with corporate members and sponsors and assisting with the management of the database and the diary of events. I have also worked across the Development department working on a variety of different projects including organizing Director’s Circle events, assisting within the Membership and Major Gifts offices.
Duties include providing exceptional customer service at all times, processing customer transactions, Embossing the leathergoods on the shop floor, Keeping shopfloor clean and tidy at all times.
This role consisted of assisting the Events manager with events and various admin tasks such as responding to enquiries and drafting client emails within the busy office of the enterprise department. Redesiging the corporate events and corporate membership brochure, assisting with press contact database updates, helping to run special events and exhibitions such as design week, assisting with press events, private tours and venue hire, mailing invitations. Also made crucial improvements to the events website.
Main duties include invigilating the ‘Fashion and Garden’ exhibition, assisting the public and museum visitors, providing any information about exhibition. Providing a guided tour, observing the conditions in the gallery and security.
Assisting the editor whilst shooting their summer 2013 issue, assisted with set building, organising products for the shoot, collecting and returning from PR agencies, preparing garments for shooting, styling looks for the shoot.
