Working within the Development team i have gained extensive experience leading on events such as private views, lectures and launches. My role at the Victoria & Albert Museum is a highly rewarding position working within the Museum Events team on mostly Private views, Galas and Previews. Within this position – I am responsible for the variousadministrative tasks such as dealing with public enquiries, corresponding directly with corporate members and sponsors and assisting with the management of the database and the diary of events. I have also worked across the Development department working on a variety of different projects including organizing Director’s Circle events, assisting within the Membership and Major Gifts offices.

This role consisted of assisting the Events manager with events and various admin tasks such as responding to enquiries and drafting client emails within the busy office of the enterprise department. Redesiging the corporate events and corporate membership brochure, assisting with press contact database updates, helping to run special events and exhibitions such as design week, assisting with press events, private tours and venue hire, mailing invitations. Also made crucial improvements to the events website.
Main duties include invigilating the ‘Fashion and Garden’ exhibition, assisting the public and museum visitors, providing any information about exhibition. Providing a guided tour, observing the conditions in the gallery and security.
Assisting the editor whilst shooting their summer 2013 issue, assisted with set building, organising products for the shoot, collecting and returning from PR agencies, preparing garments for shooting, styling looks for the shoot.
