  • Donna Livia
Donna LiviaThe client When Livia Bortoletto started looking
for a location where to start her business,
she wanted to find a place that would feel like home. When she found it - on the hills
of Brisighella, near Ravenna, Italy - she created Donna Livia, a farmhouse that focusses
on hospitality, olive oil and wine production. Everything Donna Livia offers has to be connected with these values in mind: create
a community through the cooperation
with the locals and their resources, produce quality in a

Two years ago, she found herself completely unable to speak for several months, finally being diagnosed with unilateral vocal fold paralysis. Google Grand Tour of ItalyHosted in four key cities, each event uncovers the stories behind the country’s wonders – from Canaletto’s paintings in ultra-high resolution, to the Redentore fireworks in 360° – all brought to life with Google technologies. In this project I had the chance, through a new visual medium (Google’s Tilt Brush), to re-interpret some of the symbols of Italian art and culture, The artworks have been exhibited throughout the duration of the four events.
  • The Rosary Peas
The Rosary Peas"The rosary pea has very pretty seeds. These decorative seeds are often used to make jewelry, but they contain the poison abrin. They are only dangerous when the coating is broken - swallowed whole, the rosary pea doesn't present any danger. But if the seed is scratched or damaged, it's deadly.” The Rosary Peas is just a collection of short stories, born from a dark place, and illustrated. Just as simple as that. Personal project.
