This position entails. • Creating online and offline newsletters, e-mail and postal mailing campaigns, blogging and networking activities with stakeholders. • Running the social media campaign which includes: • Regular blog posts on company activity and providing inspiration and ideas to potential customers for party ideas. • Using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and G+ to generate traffic to the blog/website when new posts are published or using relevant trends or events in the entertainment business to help raise profile. Tweets are consistently liked/re-tweeted and drove traffic to the blog posts on the web-site. Average number of Twitter impressions generated was 5000 per month. A great amount of work is managed individually so my organizational, IT and problem solving skills have improved greatly. Through the course I built on my analytical skills and learnt how to make effective strategic branding decision. 2. Market research and data analysis: I used Excel, SPSS, SmartPLS and Nvivo to gain business insight and to plan and develop an effective and accurate research proposal. I applied my research and analytical skills in my dissertation on brand alliance which was awarded with distinction. 3. Integrated Marketing Communications: I learnt to manage multiple social media platforms and generate following among peers and marketing related accounts during a few months - In groups we developed a marketing communication plan which was pitched to a real-life client. 4. Branding Design: practiced Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills, producing a logo and branding guidelines. In teams we successfully developed and shoot a fictitious repositioning advertising campaign for Lion; for which we were awarded with distinction. Through the campaign development process I learnt how to properly communicate with photographers and designers to effectively achieve the required result. Each course entailed individual work, team work and presentations which helped me to enhance my problem solving, presentation and team building skills.
