Part time job alongside studies where I train new floor staff to company’s standards and assist events manager to create and manage events and functions held in our private space.
Led a team of visual merchandisers to created and design store displays, planned and organised shop floor and installations to drive sales. Worked closely with general manager to maximise sales.
As a first assistant to the general manager I managed a team of 15, held motivational meetings to drive sales and maintained the companies standards in a fast paced environment. Job also included: Managing orders, deliveries and stock, calculating sales figures, reading sales reports and make decisions based on figures, administration and HR management.
Took on the position when sales were down and managed to increase both sales and visits to the department by arranging products according to sales figures and regularly rotate installation to keep department fresh looking. I took advantage of the store location and the small sized community and put strong emphasis on creating lasting and personal rela- tionship with loyal costumers by spending most my time on shop floor interacting with both staff and costumers.
