Delivering workshops and talks to Contemporary Practice students. Providing any additional practical and technical support with materials, techniques , CAD and laser cutting. During this time developed a jewellery collection and worked on a commission.
Assisted Production Manager during family arts event at Dunham Massey National Trust Park. Daily set-up and take down of props around site, supervised craft tent ensuring all materials replenished, daily stock take, assisting families with any queries, monitoring safety of site and props.

Awarded this internship as a prize at 2015 degree show. Assisted Head of Surface in the day to day running of the department including comp shops, market, material and trend research, mood boards, creating design sheets to pitch to clients, colour work, product illustration, product design, print design, fabric pattern development, 3D sampling, business administration. Intensive use of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. This role developed strong time management and organisation to ensure tight deadlines were met.
Worked on the development of S/S 17 jewellery collection which exhibited at LFW 15. Involved in all aspects of the collection including research, drawing, design development, sourcing materials, 3D model making, sampling and production. CAD including Adobe Illustrator used to design work to be laser cut and acid etched. Given freedom to work in own style which developed confidence as a designer.
Running the merchandise shop at MIF developed organisation and communication skills, regularly offering information about the festival to the public and answering any queries they had about the performances. Managed display of products and stock take.
General assistance in the day to running of a small accessory design business. Making toiles for new collection, working on production of previous collection, pattern cutting, bag construction, machine and hand sewing, embellishment, applique, punch embroidery, quilting, piping, pompoms, fabric sourcing, collecting orders.
Designed, made and performed in a musical costume for the moving orchestra parade, organised by performance art collective Volkov Commanders. I also worked on ticket exchange throughout the day utilising teamwork and communication skills.
Designed and made installations, props and décor for an area of the festival aimed at 0-4 year olds. Designed and developed ideas in-keeping with the theme ‘Gypsy Baby’, sourced materials, managed budget and completed all work to deadline. Project was undertaken alongside University studies.

Supervised children aged 0-16 throughout the festival. Gained invaluable experience with the running of a family Arts festival.
I worked with record label Red Deer Club, performing as the Grim Reaper to take selected punters to several secret performances throughout the festival. This role required me to stay in character throughout the day and built my confidence in a performing environment and gained a good understanding of the running of a music festival. Helped with set dressing and promotion on the run up to the event.
