About me
My most recent role involved working for London Wildlife Trust as a digital content creator. My latest project in collaboration with the Natural History Museum x National Geographic eDNA project focused on technology using focus stacking to create HD images of insects. This was very exciting to work on and I loved the use of cutting age technology to promote both the Natural History archives and wildlife conservation. I’m inspired by the impact of digital content and its use as a tool to influence and shape public attitudes. I have developed my media skills with MTV, Sky News, Media Trust and many more. I love the creative process of designing campaigns and pitching alternative approaches to given briefs. During my time working with Media Trust, I was very successful at pitching ideas to companies such as Oath and The Telegraph. It would be fantastic to be given the opportunity to broaden my skills within digital content creation. In my spare time I create freelance media content for debates in the House of Commons conferences, SmallTalkTV and Gyaldem magazine; and have recently begun my own successful podcast HashtagPodcast showcasing artists and pop culture. I previously have written for the University of Leeds student newspaper (>50,000 views) and enjoy writing captivating articles and press releases. I am really interested in ways to redefine attitudes using engaging and vibrant technology. I can use all Adobe programs with ease and have excellent IT skills. In previous roles I have managed social media accounts and social media. Working with the Bat Conservation Trust enabled me to successfully plan and design (Adobe) my own campaigns to help boost volunteer engagement- with a fantastic response given from users. I am currently looking for a role which allows me to push my skills further and to help me take the next step in my career.
