Ruby Bloom is a independant start up in the prestigious surrounds of Victoria Quarter, Leeds. My role within the company was to support the start up and use my creative skills to create the companies advertisements, logos and campaigns. Whilst also assisting the general management of the company. As an artist/printmaker focusing on floral photography my work complimented the companies atheistic and gave me the opportunity to experience how good company branding and advertising can effect how successful a company really can be.
Daily running of the shop front. Conditioning flowers for the shop front. Creating hand ties for customers, plus packaging their purchases. Understanding what clients wanted and suggesting the possible options.
Chairing meeting within the University between both staff and students. Resolving issues that both students and staff brought a head. Creating creative ways of dealing with these issues. Promoting the University at varies external events. Ensured that £95 funding was allocated to each student within the Creative Industries after receiving numerous complaint due to the expense of materials within the creative subjects.
Daily running of both bar and award winning restaurant. Ordering in stock and deliveries and making sure all stock was up to date. Managing a staff load of 10. Organising advertisements in local and national papers and magazines. Creating the advertisements to be shown within the magazines.

Exhibited in the annual Spike Open, held at the we known Spike Island an international centre of development of contemporary art and design.
