A seasoned and progressive Co-Founder / Creative Director of House of Folk - a proudly independent cross-discipline studio working globally from our base in Edinburgh. I've worked for 18 years in the creative industry, specialising in branding, campaign, digital design and UX/UI environments for the likes of Universal Records, PUMA, Miler Running NYC and numerous SMEs to deliver enterprise-level creative solutions that suit their specific needs. My work has a natural lean towards the music, sports and lifestyle sectors, with a bias for clean, minimal and functional design that is intuitive in its use and conceptually sound in equal measure. An intrinsically curious collaborator, problem solver, and lover of tech; I come with a wealth of experience in eCommerce, SaaS and human-centered design thinking, future-proofing for all environments. I'm a personable, glass half full, real-talking thinker with ambitious ideas and a diverse skill set. Masters thesis interrogated the subjective nature of cross sensory experiences (synesthesia), and how the outcomes could be interpreted through the mediums of design & art direction, specifically photography and digital design.
