Digital PR/Marketing, Social Media and Events. Balanced combination of lateral thinking, out-of-the-box creativity and project management.
I have recently joined the Unicef Next Generation team - a global UNICEF initiative bringing together diverse groups of young professionals, aged 21 to 40 who are committed to helping transform the lives of the world's most vulnerable children. The team organises a host of innovative events and creative collaborations, working together to raise vital awareness and donations for UNICEF's work. My first involvement was with Blain|Southern ‘Beyond Borders’ - an exhibition and auction in aid of Unicef’s Children of Syria Emergency Appeal. It featured a range of work in various mediums by leading contemporary artists including Diana Al-Hadid, Ali Banisadr, Y.Z. Kami, Marius Bercea, Moshekwa Langa, Athier Mousawi and Nasan Tur. Beyond Borders programme included the private viewing, a hosted a panel discussion at Blain|Southern focusing on art and conflict and a live auction at the gallery, with pre-bidding online powered by Paddle8. All of the proceeds going towards Unicef’s Children of Syria Emergency Appeal.
In my role at JAXKS, I worked on increasing the visibility of the brand with effective PR activates such as, managing public relation supports and collaborations with a leading a network of international fashion influencers. I also designed, developed and expanded a strong and distinct, multi-channel social media presence for JAXKS. Through a combination of creative social media marketing strategies and monitoring the success through media analytics, KPIs, and dashboards. This led to significantly improved metrics across key areas at JAXKS.
Fashion editorials, international campaigns, commercials and catwalk.
My role included digital design and copywriting, networking and event production. The events consisted of discussions and hosted panels from leaders across all disciplines, world-class performances, immersive activities and dining experiences. There was also a range of more ‘unique’ events programming, from tagging endangered sharks in the Caribbean to organising hosted talks on cognitive optimisation technology on the top of the Utah mountains.
