Working closely with the senior designers at G.A Branding in creating a high-end lifestyle publication. This required a keen eye in sourcing and placing imagery and copy into a digital layout that closely followed brand guidelines.
I have recently completed one months work with Christopher Simmonds, where I was working as Junior Art Director in a fast paced and demanding studio environment, working on briefs for luxury fashion brands such as Gucci. During this period I engaged in research tasks, coming up with campaign concepts, location searching, marking up images for retouchers and shoot preparation.
Editorial design for issue 8 of Puss Puss magazine. Working closely with the founder, Maria Joudina in creating engaging layouts. This job required thorough research into fashion and culture magazines for inspiration as well as a good understanding of the personal style of Puss Puss.
My role as a Design Assistant with Lottie Markworth required in depth research into brands and their competitors in order to build the foundations for project proposals. I was required to create mood boards and artist references for inspiration and potential collaborations.
I have been working freelance with the jewellery brand Motley London since September to present in creating art attacks edits of product shots for online platforms in the shape of both image and animation. One of my designs was featured online at Vogue.co.uk, and others can be seen on the Motley website and Instagram.

Product shoot for online clothing brand The Make Shed. Production management and art direction for a shoot containing a small team of myself, a photographer and model. Following instructions set out by the client we produced a range of shots of the garments provided in a location scouted by myself.

The creation of a fashion look book for Graduate Fashion Week on behalf of Brighton Fashion Textiles and Business Studies. This job had an extremely tight twenty-four-hour turn around, which was a challenge but one I really enjoyed. It required the use of Adobe InDesign, organisation and time management skills.
Art direction and post production for a Fashion Textiles student Madeleine Paine. This job entailed assisting the client during a photo shoot; sourcing and styling props, directing models and the photographer to capture the desired shots, as well as some post production editing in Adobe Photoshop.
Photography and Art Direction for Gavin Ambrose’s Format for Graphic Designers published by Bloomsbury. This brief required the photographing of hand based processes such as Bookbinding, Screen Printing and Letter Press to be featured in a publication by Gavin Ambrose.
Map illustration and info-graphics for London Royal Docks. This job required the use of Adobe Illustrator to create a fun illustrated map of the London Royal Docks and surrounding area for the public to use as navigation around the areas amusements. The map was featured on the website as well as printed on promotional material.
This brief required the designing of a logo for Fizzy Snood, a cancer charity organisation. Working closely with the client to create a design that was relevant and personal to the brand identity using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Promotional material for an arts and culture festival around Brighton. This job included the organising of workshops in the youth centre to create illustrations to be included in the promotional material by the youths. Using the Adobe Creative Suite I created a twelve page programme for the festival as well as; posters, stage banners and wrist band designs. This Job took a huge amount of organisation and time management skills as well as a knowledge of Adobe design software and printing processes.
Wall Mural for The Crown and Anchor Inn, Brighton. This was a really fun project, unlike any I have done before. The brief was to design and make a wall mural for the pub garden. Using stencils and spray paint in a team of three we created a large mural of tropical foliage, creating a fun summery feel to the beer garden. The required organisation and time management skills as well as learning new techniques in stencilling and spray painting.
Assistant at St. Andrews Press working with Adobe Design suites to help out with clientele work; this was often preparing and editing jobs to be printed; dealing with industrial printers and working on personal project whilst carrying out general duties inside the office.
