About me

Hello, I’m Elle – a freelance journalist specialising in travel, lifestyle, wellbeing and social change. My passion lies in storytelling. I love meeting people from all walks of life and telling their stories. Connection and creativity are at the core of what I do. From wellness how-to’s and fun lifestyle pieces to in-depth features exploring some of life’s big questions, I write to make sense of the beautiful, changing world around me. The journey so far: Last year, I moved to a beautiful old town in Provence, France to join the team at Voyage Privé as UK Content Editor, where I write and edit luxury travel content. I also manage and oversee the business’ social media platforms for the UK market. My career began in the advertising industry, where I worked with brands including Starbucks, Specsavers, LNER, Allianz, and Age UK to launch digital display campaigns. I then went on to complete my master’s degree in magazine journalism, before stepping into the editorial world full-time. Today, I write for a range of international, national, and independent magazines. I love to create poetry and prose, too. In fact, my notebook and pen come with me nearly everywhere I go. I’ve always admired the special way that words can move a world within us – compelling us, comforting us, making us laugh, and inspiring new ways of thinking in us.
