  • My personal career highlight was the successfully completion of my internship at 3.1 Phillip Lim in New York.   • At Ping Pong Clothing I was the sole knitwear production assistant, and it was my responsibility to oversee the entire production process of the four knitwear collections per year. With every collection being at different stage in the production process, I had to efficiently multitask and provide clear communications with our offshore manufacturers and suppliers. My main responsibilities included creating specifications/technical packs, conducting fit meetings of samples, fabric/lab dip/ trim approvals and quality control. It was a great benefit being involved all throughout the production process because it has given me an invaluable understanding of the workings and a skill set transferable to numerous head of positions. - Sole responsibilty for the development and production of the four knitwear ranges per year - Creating garment specification documentation / technical packs - Conduct the several fit and development meetings during each garments production process with the designer and general manager - Modifying samples, providing comments and delivering specifications to off-shore suppliers - Communicating and liaising daily with off-shore suppliers and factories to ensure timelines and specification are being met - Approvals of lab dips, trims, fabric and knit and swatches from fabric suppliers - Presenting and participating in production meetings to update fellow design departments - Completing quality assurance reports for all knitwear styles - Logistics and stock control
