I'm a self-shooting filmmaker and radio producer specialising in character driven documentary. With an eye for compelling characters and powerful narratives, my documentaries present personal stories in a style that is intimate, engaging and emotive.
Alongside award winning radio producer David Waters, I am currently developing a documentary podcast series for Amazon's new 'Audible Editions' platform.
Since May 2016 I have been working on 'Pistorius', a feature length documentary exploring the life and murder trial of paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius. Due for theatrical release in early 2018, the film will later be available to stream online at Amazon Originals.
I shot and edited 'Post Natal Confessions', the 'behind-the-scenes' mini-doc for Alice Lowe's directorial debut 'Prevenge'.
I worked for a number of clients across charity, education and corporate sectors to produce informative, engaging, and lively video content.
I received my MA with Distinction and my graduation film 'Everything the Light Touches' was selected to open the Film School Showcase at Open City Docs 2016. This short documentary then went on to screen at a number of film festivals across the UK.
In 2016 I was awarded the HEFCE urban research award in collaboration with PHD candidate Matthew Holman. The award subsequently funded our film 'Schrodinger's Shoreditch'; a short documentary which had its first screening at the East End Film Festival 2017.
