I love writing - in all forms. Notably, I have been invited to be members of the Royal Court Theatre's Young Writers Programme and their Studio Group. A lot of my hobbies include writing – a prime example of this being during the last two Eurovision Song Contests when I single handedly did a minimum of one live Tweet per entry throughout the night. I also enjoy playing video games (I’m a bit of a Steam addict), and follow fashion and trends almost religiously. A regular volunteer for the Putney Arts Theatre for over a year, I have enjoyed making a large variety of art-enthused friends, from volunteering as Front of House staff and as an actor. Recently I played Suzanne in their adaptation of Therese Raquin, and played W in Mike Bartlett’s Cock in January 2016.
My main duties include liaising with creative agencies, inputting copy rotation instructions into Media Pro, exporting broadcasting schedules to the channels that Exodus represents, fulfilling sales approvals to the specified budgets for advertising campaigns and checking previously entered CRIs. I am also currently researching and re-modelling the social media pages, including LinkedIn, all of which will be re-launched in the next few months.
Volunteer with a local theatre charity. Welcome visitors, give information about current and upcoming shows and opportunities, bar work (including stocking, cleaning, tills and cash handling) and box office.
Several rolls including: Customer Service – LoveCrafts (Office Angels) January 2016 – March 2016 For this position I dealt with customer service inquiries over phone and email for LoveKnitting and LoveCrochet. I also created a number of friendly Macros, using my copywriting skills, to use for guiding customers through technical questions to do with the site (everything from trouble downloading patterns to finding your marked favourite items). Other tasks involved taking telephone orders, using Magento to keep track of stock and placed orders, and liaising with courier companies. Copywriter – Topshop, VM Team (Office Angels) October 2015 – December 2015 Was solely responsible for all creative product descriptions, sending descriptions for translation and creating header and meta copy for the UK and US web pages. For this I used the meeting I acquired in weekly trade team meetings to include top and growing search terms for each country in the descriptions and header writing for the best SEO and worked closely with the editorial team to keep tone of voice uniform across the website and articles. Worked to extremely tight deadlines as most writing went live the next day.
Originally a front of house team member but went on to take over the Events and Social Media Manager. Day-to-day duties include setting up, taking bookings, supervising the restaurant area, hosting events, and working as a team. A lot of this has included emailing and taking books over the phone, by email and in person. Regularly updated the social media pages with creative writing and pairing it with suitable images. On my first ever mystery shop at the Coat and Badge I received a score of 95%.
At SiteZulu (site-building platform) I wrote a regular blog, letting people know how best to use Social Media for new businesses and how different site-builders work. For this I had to use my knowledge of Social Media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and how they work when trying to fund a new business. In my first month with SiteZulu, I helped to increase the traffic on the Facebook page by more than double.
