About me
I am a textile designer based in Scotland, specialising in printed and dyed textiles. With a focus on hand-drawn design and repeat pattern, my work has been greatly influenced by the time I spent living and studying in Kyoto, Japan in 2019. I have specialist knowledge of traditional Japanese resist-dyeing techniques, screen-printing and digital design, which I use to create considered and versatile designs. In July 2020, I graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with a First Class BA (Hons) in Textile Design. I am now working towards producing my own range of textiles, while looking for creative opportunities as a qualified designer.

The textile outcomes include digitally printed silk and bamboo with subtle pleat and fold illusions, an
  • Playful Prints
Playful PrintsA short side-project to compliment my graduate collection. This collection features placement prints with complimentary repeat patterns, intended for interiors and gifting. The colour palette is light and vibrant to reflect the playful nature of the prints.
  • The Glasgow School of Art Fashion Show
The Glasgow School of Art Fashion ShowCoral is a collection of textiles for fashion, inspired by sea coral. Each design was hand-printed using a range of screen-printing techniques. The fabrics were then used to create three catwalk looks for The Glasgow School of Art Fashion Show 2019.
